Monique May

Monique May, M.S.,CCC-SLP is an ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist who has experience as a private practitioner and school-based therapist.

She is passionate about imparting the confidence of communication in the areas of: Early Intervention, School Age Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders, Augmentative & Alternative Communication, and Social Skills Training & Implementation. In addition to holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence, she is certified by The Hanen Centre to facilitate “It Takes Two to Talk”, a parent coaching workshop. Monique has also completed training through the Pittsburgh AAC Language Seminar Series/MinSpeak program to support nonverbal communicators and users of speech generating devices.

Monique recently founded The Confident Communication Center, or The CCC, which is home to The Soulcial Circle, a social communication group for BIPOC teens in underserved communities. Monique is dedicated to developing confident communicators.
